Sometimes it's good to let loose and do something a little different. I did all these on the tablet which I rarely do. I still love the pen and paper.
Anyway, I have this idea that has been percolating in the back of my head for YEARS now. It's gone through several different types of incarnations and set-ups, but it's starting to resemble a good idea, and one I may actually fully develop.
I don't plan to go on hiatus with Max any time soon, but when I do - this is shaping up to be something fun to do in the downtime. This is four of seven main characters devised so far. The looks and costumes aren't final, but a step in the right direction, I guess. And it feels good to get a 'look' down to go with the new concept that's all just scribbles of notes so far.

I enjoy the differing shapes and sizes you got going on here, also the absence of generic white guy to lead them all, is refreshing.
I really want to push myself with character design on this idea which I don't think I've done enough of quite yet. But it's fun to tinker!
