With the relaunch of DC comics being essentially the same old, same old, Jon Morris launched a blog that showcased an alternate take on DC's heroes from a whole bunch of different cartoonists.

The initial wave is over, but he's extended it, and I was lucky enough to get in and play before he cut off submissions.

This is the first pass at my completely revamped concept of Power Girl, (or Power Girls, as I made it). Click here to see the final, and read how I would change the concept of Power Girl to have nothing to do with Superman or being Supergirl from a different reality.

Great concept. From what I've seen PowerGirl had great potential as a character, but her backstory made no sense and changed every few years. This would definitely make it a strong candidate for rebooting.

Your concept ties into the DC mythos, has some nods to prior continuity but would be approachable enough for new readers.

Get DidDo on the phone and make this happen.

Oh, and your pictures are pretty.
