Fantastic Five and Six by caanantheartboy Fantastic Five and Six by caanantheartboy
Not that I'd ever get the chance to work for Marvel, but I would totally love to do a mini-series where Franklin and Valeria manage their own little town of homeless people and down on their luck regular folk, and the madness that would ensue. :)

Heck, yeah. Greater intelligence only brings peace of mind if everyone else around you has it too. ;)

Fairly accurate to the comics - Val and Reed debate things all the time. They even argue whether or not to have crusts on their sandwhiches (Reed doesn't like crusts and Val does) Reed likes having his little scientist-girl to bounce things off of lol

Yeah, intelligence doesn't really help with peace of mind. That requires wisdom. Her father probably learned that after the accident.

This is actually so brilliant I'm shocked Marvel hasn't gone down that road.  Way to go Mr. Fantastic.

Thanks! I feel like comics these days are a little afraid of tackling real issues. No more Captain America punching Hitler on the cover, so to speak.

Maybe the audience for comics is so small lately, they don't want to risk alienating a single soul.

Plagiarism.  Valeria clearly stole this idea from her dad who saved Planet X with his reducing gas back in FF 7 (1962).  Of course, you could argue that he was too short sighted (or too much of a dick) to apply the same science that saved a whole culture to solving domestic social issues.

I could never really get into traditional 616 FF, but I loved the first 4 Ultimate trades. AND Ultimate Galactus. Just fun sci-fi adventures.

Thank you Valeria. Proving once again that Reed Richards is useless.

Well, he was apparently good for one thing...

Nice! .....Although shrinking the homeless and putting them in a terrarium might not be a perfect solution, i'd rather put the 1% in there, but whateves. ^_^

wow this is actually pretty brilliant and a little racist that the "inner-city living to regular folk" are black but either way nice work :D (Big Grin)

I don't see how "regular folk" is racist. We're all just regular folk.

I have been to New York, however, and "regular folk" would NOT apply to a lot of people there. ;)
